After Dig for Victory represents the community in the small section of land in the S8 area of Sheffield, and retells each of the owner’s stories in a lighthearted manner through the discussion of ‘growing your own’. Here, the images actively involve the viewer by inviting them to meet each person impersonally within the portraits and details of each location.
This series explores the themes of identity and the document by focusing on the shared passion of cultivating land for produce on a small scale.
